Sinsinawa Dominican women are called to proclaim the Gospel through the ministry of preaching and teaching in order to participate in the building of a holy and just Church and society. Having opened their hearts to this profound time of grace and being created anew by the Fire of Love, they commit themselves to living boldly together. They call one another to speak courageously, live authentically, relate transparently, expand consciousness, dream globally, collaborate intentionally, search contemplatively, study communally, and explore the emerging wisdom of God.
Death Penalty Statement
We, the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa, Wisconsin, oppose the use of the death penalty in the United States. We believe in the dignity of human life and in the merciful and forgiving God who opens the way for redemption, conversion, and growth.
