About the Webinar

This webinar (broadcasted on April 22, 2020) explores how restorative practices can offer ways of coping with life amidst a global pandemic. The discussion features insights from Sheryl Wilson, an esteemed restorative justice practioinery and national leader.

Based on a CMN blog post by the same name, the webinar highlights the following aspects of restorative living:

Presenters

Sheryl Wilson

Sheryl is Director of the Kansas Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (KIPCOR), and President of the National Association for Community and Restorative Justice (NACRJ). Sheryl has been a practitioner, trainer and educator in restorative justice for over fifteen years and has had the honor of working with individuals from around the world in her practice. She holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Mediation and Communication Studies and a restorative justice-based Master of Liberal Studies degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Sheryl is an incoming member to CMN's Board of Directors.

 

 

Caitlin Morneau

Caitlin serves as Director of Restorative Justice at Catholic Mobilizing Network where she oversees program development that engages Catholics in transforming the criminal legal system through approaches to harm that foster healing and repair among all those impacted. Caitlin holds an MA in Conflict Transformation from the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at Eastern Mennonite University and served on the Board of Directors at Bethlehem Farm in Alderson, WV. She was the lead adapter of CMN’s faith formation guide, Harm, Healing and Human Dignity: A Catholic Encounter with Restorative Justice.
