Advent 2017 Resources

Join us during this Advent season for prayerful reflection and hopeful anticipation. Every Monday you will receive a special Advent reflection for the coming Sunday. The reflections are available online, on social media, and can also be downloaded as a complete set. Enjoy the Sunday Advent scripture readings through the lens of justice and mercy:

  • First Week of Advent, December 3, 2017 - Krisanne Vaillancourt Murphy
  • Second Week of Advent, December 10, 2017 - Fr. Dustin Feddon
  • Third Week of Advent, December 17, 2017 - Alexandra Carroll
  • Fourth Week of Advent, December 24, 2017 - Julie Penndorf

We are also excited to share a special reflection for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe:

  • Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, December 12, 2017 - Francisco Herrera

To download the reflections individually or as a complete set, please see the attachments below.

Looking for more ways to mark the advent season? Check out CMN's intergenerational workshop, "The Advent of Mercy." This one to two hour family workshop provides an opportunity for families to gather as part of the parish community to reflect on our call to be people of mercy and to provide families concrete opportunities during the Advent Season to pray for and practice mercy as a family unit.
