Catholic Mobilizing Network staff represents experience and passion. These people bring a wealth of experience that comes from years spent organizing and educating. The CMN staff is committed to working to end the use of the death penalty and promoting restorative justice.
Staff
Krisanne Vaillancourt Murphy serves as the executive director of Catholic Mobilizing Network (CMN) where she oversees the organization's strategic direction and priorities while empowering a talented and growing staff. In partnership with the board and staff, she has developed the last two comprehensive strategic plans which include an emphasis on partnerships, growth initiatives, and broadening CMN’s impact.
Wedeline Casimir is a certified grant writer and the founder of Little Leaf Grants LLC. A resident of Atlanta, GA, she is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sacred Music and Music Entrepreneurship. Wedeline has secured nearly half a million dollars in funding and is passionate about supporting Criminal Justice, Children and Youth, and Arts organizations.
Moira joined CMN's communications team in the Fall of 2021. She previously spent time as an intern and a special projects contractor for both Women Without Borders — an international NGO engaging women around the world to end cycles of violence — and Ignatian Solidarity Network — a U.S.-based nonprofit which engages young people in social advocacy efforts rooted in faith and the charism of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
In her role as the Digital Content Manager, Moira works to amplify CMN's mission and work across various digital platforms.
Lucie Martinot-Lagarde joined the team in September 2022 to support the expansion of CMN’s mission of promoting restorative justice. A native of France, Lucie holds an MA in Conflict Transformation from the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at Eastern Mennonite University, with a focus on trauma healing. She spent a semester supporting the implementation of whole school restorative practices in Richmond Public School, VA. For ten years, she was involved in an international Catholic community with an ecumenical vocation and a highlight on reconciliation and unity.
Caitlin joined the CMN team in 2017 after seven years of direct social services, volunteer management, operations, and program implementation at faith-based and secular non-profits such as Catholic Charities of Baltimore, Catholic Volunteer Network, Youth Service Opportunities Project and Smith Center for Healing and the Arts. Caitlin is responsible for program development that increases understanding of restorative justice and use of restorative practices in Catholic contexts.
Sister Eileen, the Religious Engagement Associate for the Catholic Mobilizing Network, is working with Religious Congregations to broaden and deepen their commitment to ending the death penalty and to enhance the voices of murder victim family members.
In his role as the Director of Development, Jeff works to ensure that CMN has the financial resources necessary to accomplish its mission to end the death penalty and promote restorative justice. Previously, Jeff was commissioned as a lay missioner through Franciscan Mission Service. He served in Bolivia where he spent most of his time in the Cochabamba prisons, working alongside incarcerated carpenters, leather-workers, and artisans, as well as facilitating restorative justice workshops (Es.Pe.Re.). Upon returning to the U.S., Jeff served at St.
Emmjolee Mendoza Waters serves as the Director of Death Penalty Abolition Program. Emmjolee is new to the CMN family, joining in August of 2023.
Emmjolee brings 20 years of experience in education, advocacy, and ministry with a particular focus on young adults. During Emmjolee’s tenure at The Catholic University of America, she helped build a culture of service and justice, rooted in Catholic Social Teaching. She created faith based programs that engaged young adults in direct service, in local and national advocacy, and in holistic formation.
